Process - Meet every two weeks 3:15 -4:30

Agenda items - Any staff member may add to the agenda - Process - ask your grade rep or Gail/Brenda to add your agenda item.
2. Calendar & Facility Booking Process
Inside PSD school events calendar will be the official calendar. The calendar in the staff room is for visual purposes only. Any one may add to it but it's not a given that all Inside PSD events will be there.
Adding to - any event that involves joint use of the facility (ie - gym, foyer, staff room, kitchen...) must be brought up at Admin Team to be approved.
booking of field trips - Consult Inside PSD calendar first. Do not ask for C.A.V.E. day times to change as parents expect the assembly to begin at 11:00 am. It is expected that all classes attend.

Community Kitchen - must be booked through Inside PSD - Millgrove and must go around Hot Lunch program.
3.Playground - Back Park - Because of the high enrollment, we need to limit the number of students on the back park.

Front Park - Open to all grades at all times
Soccer Fields - Reinforce - areas of play - no mixing at any time - take your class out at gym and teach soccer rules, location and good sportsmanship
4. Teachers/EAs - Professional Development/Professional Growth Plan - Due September 30th - Gail
Align your goals with PSD goals and priorities.
Within your personal growth plan have a timeline of how your year will progress and what resources are needed.

5. Budget
Classroom budgets - Need vs. Want - Take a look at your classroom budgets and readjust - due Monday, September 17th
Photocopying - costs continue to rise. Discuss paperless alternatives
Capital budgets - tables/chairs - send Gail an e-mail if you haven't already on classroom needs
Laminating - what should be laminated?
Art Budget - Check with Lindsay to make sure you know what is being budgeted.
Phys. Ed - Nothing has been submitted. Do we need more phys. ed equipment?
Special Ed. - If you have a requirement for your class (visual timer, fidgets, cushions....) let Brenda S. know
6. IPP Writing & Support - October 22/ 23

IPP Input sheets will be handed out before P/T interviews
7.Communication -It's important that we communicate and share our students' learning and successes with our parents.
Expectation - Every teacher will be involved in blogging this year whether through a grade level blog or a classroom blog -
Newsletter will be replaced by website and blogs
Parents who do not have access to computers will be able to get a paper copy of school events from the office
Blogs -can be read by all so frame the questions positively (i.e. What was the best activity in social today vs. what do you think about social studies?)
8. Technology
Technology agreement - does not currently cover Web 2.0, no photos, names - first names. FOIP - picture of their name, first name
Target - to have the Technology agreement ready for next week so all students will sign
PSD - individualizing the technology needs at each school

10. Cleaning
Keep up the great work!
Community Kitchen - Hot Lunch and Milk supplies are coming in on Monday, September 17th. It will be cleaned and cleaned out on Friday, September 14 after school.
Community Kitchen - Freezer and Fridge for Hot Lunch and Milk only - no staff items
Lost and Found - Last Friday of the month will be taken away, packed on the last Wednesday.
11. School Council
Teachers will be expected to come just once this year.
12. Charity - Mary Sullivan (a former PSD teacher and principal)'s house was struck by lightning and burned completely down. Rod Strangway (assistant principal at MCHS) had set up a trust account for Mary. Staff may go to any ATB and make a deposit into the trust account set up for Mary.
